Adding New Applications

To see the 'New Application' button, the Supplier account must first be 'activated'. The account will be Activated after the Supplier has submitted bank account verification evidence (More information found here).

To add a new application, the Supplier administrator enters the following information in the Marketplace:

  1. Name of the application – Enter up to 25 characters for optimal display on the Catalogue, this is the name presented in the Catalogue. 
  2. CASB Service ID – This will be provided to you by the Marketplace administrator when the application to participate in the Marketplace is approved.  Enter the ID to retrieve the CASB risk and confidence report for the application.
  3. Long description – Enter up to 1500 characters.  This is the overview of the application when presented on the Catalogue’s application page.
  4. Short description – Enter up to 60 characters for optimal display on the Catalogue.  This is the short description of the application when presented on the Marketplace catalogue.
  5. Application logo – Upload logo. Logo must be square, with the same length and width, maximum size of 200x200 pixels and up to 200KB.
  6. Application categories - Select one or more categories that the application belongs to.

The Supplier administrator can

  • Save a draft version of the application after they have completed the initial data entry. 
  • Continue making changes to the draft application or create new subscription plans to associate with the application.
  • Continue making changes to the draft subscription plan once created.

Once the Supplier administrator is satisfied that the information for their Application and Subscription Plan(s) is complete, they submit their Application / Subscription Plan(s).

Upon submission, the Marketplace Platform administrator will receive an email notification.  Thereafter, the Marketplace Platform administrator will review the Application and Subscription Plan(s) and will make the decision to approve or otherwise.

Once approved, the Application and Subscription Plan(s) will be published on the Marketplace catalogue.

Note: The GCDO 105 Cloud Risk Assessment must be submitted for a product to be published live on the catalogue. More information on this here.
